(SPOKANE, Wash.) HuntMountain Resources (OTCBB:HNTM) is pleased to announce the appointment of Randal Hardy as Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of the Company. The appointment was effective as of August 1st, 2005.

Mr. Hardy managed Sunshine Minting, Inc., a Coeur d’Alene, Idaho-based precious metals custom minting and manufacturing firm as President and CEO for the past eight years. Prior to that, he was Treasurer of the New York Stock Exchange-traded Sunshine Mining and Refining Company and has extensive experience in corporate financial management, debt and equity issuance and public reporting. Mr. Hardy graduated magna cum laude from Boise State University with a degree in Finance and has achieved designations as a Certified Management Accountant and Certified Cash Manager.
